About Urban District Market
Urban District Market is a food court in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is listed at 2315 N Davidson St #300, Charlotte, NC 28205, which places it among the local businesses of Charlotte that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Quick-bite Asian spots, food courts and asian fast-food counters are built for speed: order at the counter, pay up front, and food usually comes out within a few minutes. Combo meals with a main, a side and a drink are common and generally the best value. Food courts and food halls group several counters under one roof and let you mix orders from different vendors at shared seating, which is useful for groups with different cravings. Noodle shops and dumpling counters often sell by the dozen or by weight rather than as fixed plates, so check the board before ordering. Most of these spots take cards and mobile pay, and tipping is optional at counter service, though a jar for the staff is common.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ10:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Charlotte is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Charlotte follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Each time I've gone to Urban District Market, it's been a long, busy day when I ruled out cooking. I don't eat a lot of rice, but when I make the exception, it tends to be with Urban District Market. I haven't always known what I was eating as I purchased a surprise meal at the end of the night, but I've always enjoyed what I received. Always easy to park and easy pickup.

Urban District Market is such a fun place to visit! The concept is really cool, with a bunch of different restaurants all under one roof, so there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is cute, lively, and perfect if you want to sample foods from different cuisines in one trip. We tried quite a few things, and there were definitely some standouts. The carne asada fries were easily our favorite. They were seasoned to perfection, packed with flavor, and an easy 10/10. We'd absolutely order them again. The carne asada tacos, on the other hand, were just okay. The meat wasn't nearly as well seasoned as it was on the fries, and the tortillas were a little cold. We'd give them about a 6.5/10. The horchata wasn't for us. It leaned very heavily on the cinnamon, so unless you're a huge cinnamon fan, it might not be your favorite (4/10). We also tried both the half-and-half Korean corn dog and the all-beef Korean corn dog. Unfortunately, they were much sweeter than we expected, and the breading kept falling apart, so we'd rate them around a 5/10. For desserts and snacks, the taro buns had an interesting texture but could have been a little sweeter since they tasted slightly bitter (6.5

We arrived at Urban District Market with high hopes that it would be similar to food markets we have enjoyed in other cities. Parking was honestly a little confusing. For such a large place, there seemed to be very limited parking, and we were not able to find handicap-accessible parking. Iβm not saying it doesnβt exist, but we did not see it. When you first walk in, it feels more like a grocery store with token machines. Toward the back, there are several different food vendors to choose from. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt very impersonal. We were not greeted once while browsing, and several employees were sitting around on their phones. We ended up ordering from El Dorado Grill. The worker watched his phone while we ordered on an iPad and never said a word. We later realized we were supposed to wait for a text alert letting us know the food was ready. The empanada was cold on the inside. My husband did enjoy his sandwich, but the chips were stale and the salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar. Overall, if you visit Urban District Market, I personally would not recommend El Dorado Grill.

This is a review of Labaratory. We sat at the bar and had cocktails. I got the Spicy Watermelon Mass, which is awesome on a hot day to cool off. Jo got the Watermelon Soju Cocktail - this uses dry ice. Both very good. Elizabeth makes excellent cocktails. Next time I want to try the Coconut Soju Cocktail.

So this review is mainly for the restaurant between the chicken place and 'Stuffed.' but I can't find its name anywhere. Anyways.. The fried food options here looked amazing and I love trying new foods, unfortunately the food was cold or room temperature and I'm pretty sure my egg that I got was raw. Now, it might've been how it supposed to be but I was caught off guard and I still tried it - the texture was not for me. The food still tasted good but I was very disappointed about the temperature and also I didn't know this business has no water/drinks for sale so keep that in mind before you order. Luckily the building has public water fountains with cups attached to the side so it wasn't a big deal. There's fun things for kids to play with as well as bars, lounge areas, and it seems to be a hub for community events. Overall if the food was warm it would've been 5 stars in all.
